Hello and welcome back to Texas Tech Health Check from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I'm your host, Melissa Whitfield. We want you to get healthy and stay healthy with help from evidence based advice from our physicians, health care providers and researchers. That's why we're excited to bring you the next season of Texas Tech Health Check. We will still be asking our experts about physical and mental health topics, but we're also exploring a different style from our Q and A episodes this fall for at least one episode. Among the topics we'll be covering are public health and disasters, cancer and how it affects our mental health, rural health, lung health, knee preservation and how to break unhealthy habits.
